All started out in 2002 with the 1:87 release of Brother Fleischman’s Fakultativwagen. The available Model was an Era 2 vehicle from the mid 1930ties. I thought to backdate the model to a vehicle of the pre World War 1 era. Emil Konrad´s breaking book „Die Reisezugwagen der deutschen Länderbahnen“ (Here: Band 1: Preußen. Stuttgart 1982) is a great source to Länderbahnen rolling stock. I found a good pictorial source here and the backdating job was straight fore ward.
